PIPELINE/CONTAINMENT COATING
KEMAGARD III is a two-layer composite filled coating system. It exhibits excellent adhesion and excellent cathodic disbondment properties on either a metallic or concrete substrate. It exhibits excellent mechanical properties and very low moisture permeation. It forms a chemical bond between its composite interlayers while completing a seamless chemical bond to other adjacent polymer and polyolefin coatings.
KEMAGARD III offers simple, efficient and portable field application. It bonds to all other coatings including polyethelene, over-the-ditch tape wraps and mill-applied two- and three-layer composite coatings.
Recommended Uses:
- New pipe corrosion coating on girth welds, transitions, valves, fittings and other assemblies
- Pipeline repair coating for damaged/aged coating
- Concrete walls, floors and containment structure surfaces
