LASTING PROTECTION IN HARSH CONDITIONS
The KEMA Milspec T-4 coating system is a VOC compliant, epoxy-based polyamide coating formulated in strict conformity with U.S. Military Specification MIL-DTL-24441C Type IV. It provides long-lasting surface protection for immersion service or harsh atmospheric conditions.
It offers very good weathering and UV resistance and is ideal for use where air pollution regulations for marine coatings are restricted to a maximum of 340 g/L or 2.8 lbs/gal.
Recommended Uses:
The KEMA Milspec T-4 coating system is for use over prepared steel, iron and aluminum substrates located inland, on coastal or at offshore facilities where a durable, moisture and/or chemical resistant coating is desired. Well suited for:
- Marine vessels including bilges, tanks and underwater hulls
- Offshore platforms
- Processing plants, bridge works
- Interior/exterior steel structures

- Black
- Aliphatic White PU Hybrid
U.S. Military Test Results
The corrosion resistance of KEMA MILSPEC T-4 offers the on- or off-shore facilities operator excellent protection of steel services within at least five Environmental Zones (EZ).
- 2A – Frequently wet by fresh water
- 2B – Frequently wet by salt water
- 3A – Chemical (acidic)
- 3B – Chemical (neutral)
- 3C – Chemical (alkaline or base)
